Functions of EFC:
Guidance to prospective and existing entrepreneurs for export under one roof.
Creating linkage with export advisory bodies.
Export – oriented training facilities.
Information/ data bank for export – worthy items.
Boost up export from local and State MSMEs and reduction of import.
Other export – related policy implementation.
Providing handholding support to MSMEs.
Providing guidance related to International Cooperation (IC) Scheme of Ministry of MSME for attending International Trade Fairs (ITFs).
Linkage with advisory bodies such as Export promotion Councils (EPCs)/ Commodity Boards/ Export Development Authorities etc.
Preparation of directory of exporting unit under jurisdiction of EFCs.
Meeting with Industry Associations, State Govt., Clusters, SEZ Developers, Development Commissioner (SEZ), EPCs, DGFT & others Stakeholders.
To provide Handholding assistance in obtaining IE Code.
Organizing Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) and other trainings with focus on Export Activities.
Management Development Programmes (MDPs) on Export Marketing & Documentation.
Conducting Webinars on various Export related topics like Identification of HS Code of Products and Searching International Markets, Import Reduction/Substitution and Export
Promotion in MSME sector, Export Opportunities for Agro Food Industries & Anti – Dumping Measures & Trade Remedies for MSMEs etc.
Implementation of policies as framed by O/o the Development Commissioner (MSME), New Delhi.
